How to Get to the Bayside Marketplace Parking Garage

For GPS, enter Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132 into Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze. The garage is directly connected to Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami.

Drivers can access the garage from more than one entrance:

  • Main Bayside entrance: The easiest and most recognizable option for first-time visitors.
  • NE 5th Street entrance: A second garage entrance that many visitors may not realize is available.
  • Look for the blue parking signs and Bayside signage when approaching the garage.
  • Once inside, park on any available level rather than spending extra time searching for a first-level space.

Parking tip: If this is your first visit to Bayside, we recommend using the main entrance. The 5th Street entrance can be useful when approaching Bayside from that side of Downtown Miami.

From the Bayside Garage to the Waterfront

Once you've parked, reaching the waterfront is simple. From the garage, allow approximately 3–5 minutes of walking time, depending on your parking level and walking pace.

For the easiest route to our kiosk:

  • Exit the parking garage toward Bayside Marketplace.
  • Once outside the garage, turn left.
  • Continue toward the escalators.
  • Look for Victoria's Secret.
  • Our pink kiosk is located behind the escalators near Victoria's Secret.
  • Stop at our kiosk first so our team can verify your reservation and direct you to the correct check-in location.

Don't make this mistake: Bayside Marketplace is a large waterfront property. If you're arriving by Uber or Lyft for one of our tours, avoid being dropped off near the Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel on the opposite side of Bayside. The main Bayside entrance near the flags is a much easier starting point for reaching our kiosk.

How Early Should You Arrive at Bayside Marketplace?

If you're parking at Bayside before a scheduled tour or excursion, we recommend arriving about 45 minutes before departure. Downtown Miami traffic and parking conditions can change quickly, especially later in the day.

Allowing extra time gives you time to:

  • Enter the garage without rushing.
  • Find an available parking space.
  • Walk approximately 3–5 minutes from the garage.
  • Locate your meeting or check-in point.
  • Complete check-in before departure.

Best Time to Find Parking at Bayside

Based on our daily experience at Bayside, morning parking is generally easier. The garage tends to become busier as the day progresses, particularly on weekends and when events are taking place nearby.

For a smoother arrival:

  • Morning: Usually the easiest time to park.
  • Afternoon: Allow additional time as Bayside becomes busier.
  • Evening: Check the nearby event schedule before leaving.
  • Weekends: Expect heavier parking demand and arrive early.

Quick tip: Don't plan your arrival around finding a parking space immediately. Sometimes you will; other times you may need a few extra minutes. Building that time into your arrival is much easier than rushing to make a departure.

Parking During Kaseya Center Games & Events

Bayside Marketplace is next to Kaseya Center, so Miami Heat games, concerts and major events can affect parking availability, traffic and rates around the area. Bayside also states that event parking rates may vary.

Based on our daily experience at Bayside, parking can become significantly busier later in the day when a major event is scheduled.

What to Expect on Event Days

  • Check the Kaseya Center event schedule before driving to Bayside.
  • Allow extra time for Downtown Miami traffic.
  • Expect heavier demand for parking as the event gets closer.
  • Bayside garage rates may be higher during special events.
  • During some major events, we've seen parking spaces reserved or coned off later in the afternoon.
  • If parking price is your priority, compare nearby Downtown Miami parking before arriving.

Helpful tip: We typically begin noticing event-related parking changes around 3–4 PM, although this varies by event. If you have an evening activity at Bayside on a game or concert day, arriving earlier can make the entire experience easier.

Parking Near Bayside Marketplace

The Bayside Marketplace parking garage is our first recommendation because it puts you directly at Bayside. However, visitors have several nearby parking options in Downtown Miami if the garage is busy, event rates are higher, or you simply want to compare prices before parking.

Bayfront Parking Garage

Bayfront Parking Garage is one of the closest covered garage alternatives to Bayside Marketplace.

  • Address: 255 NE 1st St, Miami, FL 33132
  • Parking: Covered, multilevel garage
  • Hours: Open 24 hours
  • Distance: Approximately 0.3 miles from Bayside Marketplace
  • Walking time: About 4–5 minutes, depending on your route and walking pace

The garage is near Bayfront Park and provides a practical alternative if you don't mind a short walk to Bayside. Current parking platforms list it as a 24-hour facility, with the exact walking distance varying slightly by platform.

Metered Parking Near Bayside Marketplace

Another option is metered parking around Biscayne Boulevard and the surrounding Downtown Miami streets.

There are several municipal parking areas immediately west of Bayside, including:

  • Lot 19 Section 1: 299 NE 4th St
  • Municipal Lot #19-2: 255 Biscayne Blvd
  • Lot 19 Section 3: 299 NE 3rd St

These lots are among the closest surface parking options to Bayside Marketplace and can be useful when spaces are available.

Metered spaces can also be found on surrounding Downtown Miami streets. Rates, time limits and availability can vary, so always check the meter, posted signs or parking app before leaving your vehicle.

Which Parking Option Is Best?

For most guests with a scheduled tour or excursion, we recommend choosing based on convenience, walking distance and departure time — not price alone.

Choose the Bayside Marketplace garage if:

  • You want the simplest arrival.
  • This is your first time visiting Bayside.
  • You're traveling with children or a stroller.
  • You're with older adults or someone with limited mobility.
  • You don't want to navigate Downtown Miami on foot before your departure.

Consider Bayfront Parking Garage if:

  • The Bayside garage is busy.
  • Bayside event parking is expensive.
  • You don't mind a short walk.
  • You find better parking availability or pricing there.

Consider metered or municipal parking if:

  • You find an available space close to Bayside.
  • You're comfortable walking from Biscayne Boulevard.
  • You want to compare nearby parking before entering a garage.

Planning tip: On normal days, we still prefer the Bayside garage for convenience. But during Miami Heat games, concerts and major Downtown events, check nearby parking before you arrive. Bayside officially warns that event parking rates can vary.

Accessible Parking & Easier Arrival at Bayside

The Bayside Marketplace parking garage offers designated handicap-accessible parking spaces, including spaces on the first floor, based on our daily experience at Bayside.

Accessible parking in the garage is not free. Visitors using designated handicap spaces are still required to pay the applicable posted garage rates.

Bayside Marketplace also officially provides two van-accessible handicap parking spaces on the south service road in front of the property. Complimentary wheelchairs are available for visitors who need additional assistance.

Parking With Kids, Strollers or Older Adults

Parking directly at Bayside is especially convenient when arriving with:

  • Young children
  • Strollers
  • Older adults
  • Guests with limited mobility
  • Larger family groups

Bayside also provides stroller parking adjacent to the property in the Bayside parking garage.

Garage tip: If someone in your group has limited mobility, allow additional time before your scheduled departure. Choose an appropriate available space rather than spending extra time circling the garage, and give your group enough time to comfortably reach the waterfront.

How to Pay for Parking at Bayside Marketplace

Bayside Marketplace provides several ways to pay for parking. You can pay before returning to your vehicle, use the Scan to Pay option from your phone, or pay when exiting the garage.

Pay Before Returning to Your Car

If you take your parking ticket with you, automated payment machines are available inside the Bayside parking garage.

Scan your parking ticket at the machine and complete your payment. Once paid, keep the ticket with you, as you will scan the same ticket when exiting the garage.

Scan to Pay From Your Phone

Bayside also provides a Scan to Pay option for paying directly from your phone.

The instructions currently displayed inside the garage are:

  1. Open your phone's camera and scan the QR code.
  2. Tap the payment link.
  3. Scan your parking ticket.
  4. Complete your payment.

The garage signage specifically identifies this option as “Skip the Line — Scan to Pay.”

Pay When Exiting the Garage

You can also leave your parking ticket securely in your vehicle and pay when you're ready to leave.

Payment equipment is available at the garage exits, allowing you to pay the applicable parking fee as you leave.

Bayside Parking Payment Tips

  • Keep your parking ticket somewhere safe.
  • Take your ticket with you if you want to pay before returning to your vehicle.
  • Use Scan to Pay if you prefer to pay from your phone.
  • You can also pay when exiting the garage.
  • Current parking signage shows Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express as accepted payment cards.
  • If you pay before returning to your vehicle, keep the paid ticket handy for your exit.

All-Day & Overnight Parking at Bayside Marketplace

The Bayside Marketplace parking garage is open 24 hours a day, making it an option for visitors who need to park for several hours or overnight.

Current posted rates at the garage include:

  • 2–8 hours: $30
  • 8–24 hours: $50

Parking rates may change during special events, so always check the posted rates when entering the garage.

Parking for All-Day Tours & Excursions

If you're leaving Bayside for a longer excursion, consider how long your vehicle will remain parked before choosing where to park.

Guests taking an Everglades Tour, for example, may be away from Downtown Miami for several hours, so the total parking time should be considered before entering the garage.

Before parking for the day:

  • Check the current posted rate.
  • Estimate how long you'll be away.
  • Keep your parking ticket somewhere secure.
  • Check for nearby events that could affect parking rates or Downtown Miami traffic.

Longer experiences require even more planning. A Key West Day Trip can keep you away from Miami for most of the day, making the 8–24 hour parking period particularly relevant when comparing your parking options.

Can You Park Overnight at Bayside Marketplace?

Yes. Overnight parking is available, and the garage operates 24 hours a day. The current posted rate is $50 for the 8–24 hour parking period.

That does not mean every overnight stay will automatically cost $50. The posted rate applies specifically to the 8–24 hour period, and pricing may differ during special events or if parking extends beyond that period.

Bayside tip: For an all-day excursion, compare the convenience of parking directly at Bayside with nearby Downtown Miami parking options. The Bayside garage may be the easiest choice, but it isn't necessarily the least expensive for a longer stay.

Getting to Bayside Marketplace Without Parking

Driving isn't the only way to reach Bayside Marketplace. Visitors can also arrive by Metromover, Metrorail, Brightline, Uber or Lyft, depending on where they're coming from.

Metromover to Bayside Marketplace

The College/Bayside Metromover station is the closest Metromover stop recommended by Bayside Marketplace and is located about one block from the property.

Visitors using Metrorail can travel to Government Center and transfer to the Downtown Metromover toward College/Bayside.

For visitors already staying in Downtown Miami, Metromover can be a convenient way to reach Bayside without bringing a vehicle.

Brightline & MiamiCentral

Visitors traveling to Downtown Miami by Brightline arrive at MiamiCentral, located at 600 NW 1st Ave.

From MiamiCentral, you can continue to Bayside on foot, connect with Downtown transportation, or use a rideshare for the remaining distance.

Uber & Lyft Drop-Off at Bayside

For Uber, Lyft and other rideshare services, we recommend using the main Bayside Marketplace entrance near the flags as your drop-off point.

From the main entrance, continue east through Bayside toward the waterfront and our tour area.

Pier 5 is another useful drop-off point and may be closer depending on your specific meeting location.

If you're joining one of our tours, avoid using the Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel as your drop-off point. The observation wheel is on the opposite side of Bayside from our tour area and can leave you with a longer walk through the marketplace.

Best Option for Your Visit

If you're staying nearby in Downtown Miami, Metromover or rideshare may be simpler than bringing a vehicle.

Visitors arriving from elsewhere in South Florida may prefer to drive and use one of the parking options covered above, while Brightline provides another option for travelers coming into Downtown Miami without a car.

The best choice depends on where you're coming from, how many people are traveling with you, and whether you'll need a vehicle after visiting Bayside.

Do Not Park in the Pier 5 Marina Parking Lot at Bayside

The small Pier 5 Marina parking lot at Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132, is not public visitor parking.

Pier 5 is located at the northeast corner of Bayside Marketplace, beside the marina. This location can be confusing for first-time visitors because they may see parking spaces ahead of them before entering the main Bayside parking garage and assume those spaces are available to the public.

They are not. Do not park your personal vehicle in the Pier 5 Marina parking lot.

Why the Pier 5 Parking Lot Is Restricted

Pier 5 is reserved for authorized marina and transportation activity, including:

  • Boat owners and authorized marina users
  • Deliveries and service vehicles
  • Taxis and authorized transportation
  • Buses and designated tour vehicles

The Miami 5-in-1 City Tour, for example, uses Pier 5 as an authorized departure area for its tour vehicles.

Seeing buses, taxis or other authorized vehicles parked at Pier 5 does not mean the lot is open for general visitor parking.

Unauthorized Vehicles May Be Towed

Parking and towing restriction signs are posted throughout the Pier 5 area. Based on our daily operations at Bayside, security regularly monitors this parking lot, and unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner's expense.

We regularly see visitors make the same mistake: they find an open space at Pier 5, park their vehicle and leave to take a tour, have lunch or explore Bayside. When they return, their vehicle may no longer be there because it has been towed.

Do not assume an empty space is available simply because no vehicle is occupying it. Pier 5 is restricted parking, not additional or overflow parking for Bayside Marketplace.

Pier 5 Can Be a Departure Area — Not a Visitor Parking Lot

This distinction is important.

Pier 5 may be used as a pickup, drop-off or departure location for authorized tours and transportation services. That does not give passengers or Bayside visitors permission to leave their personal vehicles there.

Even if you're only planning to park for a short time, the restriction still applies.

If you see the small parking lot at the northeast corner of Bayside Marketplace near Pier 5, do not leave your personal vehicle there. Follow the posted parking and towing signs.

Bayside Marketplace Parking for Tours, Dining, Shopping & Attractions

Whether you're visiting Bayside Marketplace for a sightseeing tour, lunch, shopping, drinks, entertainment or simply to enjoy the waterfront, the same parking rules and restrictions apply to all visitors.

The parking information in this guide is not specific to attraction or any individual tour. If you're driving to Bayside Marketplace at 401 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132, you should follow the posted parking rates, payment procedures and parking restrictions regardless of what brings you to the property.

Visiting Bayside Marketplace

People come to Bayside for many different reasons. You may be planning to:

  • Have lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants
  • Shop at Bayside Marketplace
  • Have a drink along the waterfront
  • Ride the Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel
  • Walk around the marina and enjoy the atmosphere
  • Meet friends or spend time people-watching
  • Take a sightseeing cruise or other waterfront activity
  • Join one of the tours or excursions departing from Bayside

Your reason for visiting does not change the parking rules.

That includes one of the most important rules covered in this guide: the small Pier 5 Marina parking lot is not public visitor parking. Eating at a restaurant, shopping, taking a tour or visiting an attraction does not authorize a personal vehicle to park in that restricted area.

Parking for Tours & Waterfront Activities

If you're coming for a scheduled experience, parking should be part of your arrival planning.

Guests joining a Miami Sunset Cruise should allow enough time to park, walk to the waterfront and reach their check-in location before departure.

The same applies to a Miami Night Cruise, particularly because your total time at Bayside may extend beyond the duration of the cruise if you're also planning dinner, drinks or other activities.

For a Miami Jet Ski Tour, account for parking and walking time in addition to the required check-in process before your activity begins.

These aren't separate parking policies for each tour. They're the same Bayside Marketplace parking rules that apply to everyone visiting the property.

Plan for Your Entire Visit to Bayside

Your parking time may be longer than the activity that originally brought you to Bayside.

For example, you might arrive for a cruise and stay afterward for dinner, come for shopping and decide to have drinks by the waterfront, or spend additional time exploring the marketplace before leaving.

When estimating how long you'll need to park, consider your entire visit to Bayside Marketplace, not only the duration of one reservation or activity.

Good to know: Parking at Bayside is tied to your vehicle and the amount of time it remains parked—not whether you're visiting for a tour, restaurant, shopping or entertainment. Always follow the current posted parking information and restrictions during your visit.
